Jar Candles, Made Under Your Brand

The format most fragrance brands are built on. Pick a vessel, pick a wax, pick a scent — we pour, label and box it as yours. From 500 pcs per scent, trial runs from 100.

Jar candles in glass and ceramic vessels
  • From 500 pcs per Scent

Trial runs start at 100 pcs on stock formats — test one SKU before betting a season on it.

  • Your Label, Not Ours

Label, box, vessel and scent built to your spec — not a stock candle with your sticker on it.

  • Sample Before You Commit

Production is scheduled only after you have held the physical sample and signed it off.

Options

Build Your Jar Candle

Four decisions shape a jar candle. Tell us where you land on each and we can quote it same-day.

  • Stock glass and ceramic vessels with wood, bamboo and metal lids

    Vessel

Stock glass in four sizes (210-430 ml) and ceramic in three (240-375 ml) — or a custom mould from 1,000 pcs.

  • Jar candle surface detail across wax types

    Wax

Ten options — soy, coconut, sunflower, rapeseed, rice bran, snowflake, palm, gel, beeswax and blends. We will tell you which earns its cost for your market.

  • Jar candle surface detail across wax types

    Wick

Cotton or wood, no surcharge either way — wood crackles and suits rustic positioning, cotton is the safe default.

  • The 30-scent fragrance library used for private label runs

    Scent

30 IFRA-compliant stock fragrances, or a custom match to a scent you specify — custom runs at 500 pcs per scent.

  • Stock glass and ceramic vessels with wood, bamboo and metal lids

    Lid

Wood, bamboo, metal or glass — stamped, laser-marked or silk-screened with your logo from 500 pcs.

  • Colour boxes and gift boxes made in-house

    Label & packaging

Seven label finishes and full box options, with free in-house design service.

A Minimum Built for First Orders

Our minimum is 500 pcs per scent, and trial runs start at 100 pcs on stock formats — most factories will not open the line under 1,000. You can test a market with one SKU before committing a season's budget to it.

Made to Your Spec, Not From a Catalogue

Label, box, vessel and scent are all built to your artwork and brief — not a stock candle with your sticker on it. What reaches the shelf reads as your product, priced like yours, not like a reseller's. Design work is done in-house, free.

You Sign Off Before We Commit Anything

A physical sample ships to you before production is scheduled; changes happen at the sample stage, not after 500 units are poured. Your downside on a first order is one sample round, quoted before we make it — never a full run.

Made Yours

Why Jar Candles Carry a Range

The three things retail buyers check first, and where we stand on each.

  • A vessel buyers keep

Glass and ceramic jars get reused — your brand stays on the shelf after the burn. Custom moulds from 1,000 pcs make the vessel itself the differentiator.

  • Wax matched to market

Soy and coconut carry the natural story most Western retail wants; gel opens layered looks. Ten waxes on one line means the choice is positioning, not compromise.

  • Scent that repeats

The 30-scent library is shared across every product line — a jar candle scent that sells can extend to diffusers and sprays without re-sampling.

Where It Can Go Wrong

A Jar Candle Is Easy to Buy and Hard to Get Right

Wax shrinks as it cools, frosts if the pour temperature drifts, and drowns the wick if the fragrance load is off. None of that shows up in a photo — it shows up in the second order, or the lack of one. It is why nothing ships before you have burned the sample yourself.

  • Pour temperature and cure time controlled per wax type on all seven lines
  • Burn-tested before packing — wick, throw and glass temperature
  • Sample first, always: quoted with your request, before anything is made

Smile, founder of MW Candle, who answers enquiries

A word from Smile

“Most factories will tell you to come back when you're ready for a thousand pieces. We start at 500 per scent — and take trial runs from 100 — because the brands worth working with are usually the ones still finding their footing. If your first run is smaller than that, tell me anyway — I'd rather look at it and give you a straight answer than turn you away at the door.”

What Buyers Ask About Jar Candles

Vessels, wax and minimums — the questions that decide a first order.

Production lines running at the MW Candle plant
What is the minimum for one scent?

Our standard MOQ is 500 pcs per scent — three scents means 1,500 pcs total. Trial runs start at 100 pcs on stock formats.

Which vessel sizes are in stock?

Glass in four sizes — 210 ml/160 g, 320 ml/210 g, 415 ml/280 g and 430 ml/300 g. Ceramic in three — 240 ml, 290 ml and 375 ml. Anything else is a custom mould from 1,000 pcs.

How do I choose between the ten waxes?

By market, not by price list. Tell us where it sells and the retail price — soy is the safe core, coconut reads premium, beeswax owns the natural niche. We will shortlist two and sample both.

Can you match a scent from another brand?

We can work to a reference — a custom match runs at 500 pcs per scent with a 10-15 day sampling round, against our 30 stock fragrances which sample in 7-10 days.

Can the jar carry my logo directly?

Yes — silk-screen, hot-stamp, laser or engraving on the vessel, and stamping or laser on wood and metal lids. From 500 pcs.

What does a full custom jar cost to set up?

A custom-moulded vessel carries a $70-150 mould fee and starts at 1,000 pcs — the fee is refunded once your cumulative orders pass 3,000 sets. Standard vessels carry no setup cost.
